ID and Age Requirements — You must be 21 or older to purchase adult-use cannabis. Medical patients must be at least 18 and hold a valid Illinois Medical Cannabis Card. Bring a government-issued photo ID on every visit. We accept all valid IDs, including those from out of state.
Purchase Limits — Illinois adult-use customers can shop up to 30 grams of flower, 5 grams of concentrate, or cannabis-infused products containing up to 500mg of THC in a single transaction. Per state law, out-of-state visitors are limited to half those amounts. If you're a qualified medical cannabis patient, different limits may apply, so please inform our team upon arrival.
Medical vs. Recreational — We serve both adult-use customers and registered medical patients. Medical cardholders access higher purchase limits and lower tax rates. Just let our team know when you arrive, and we'll take care of the rest.

Yes. Illinois legalized adult-use recreational cannabis on January 1, 2020, under the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act. Anyone 21 or older can legally possess and use cannabis without a medical card. Medical cannabis has been legal since 2014 for registered patients.
Illinois dispensaries use a tiered cannabis excise tax. Products at or below 35% THC are taxed at 10%. Cannabis-infused edibles carry a 20% tax. Products above 35% THC are taxed at 25%. Medical patients pay just 1%. Local municipalities may layer on additional taxes, so your total at checkout will reflect your specific location.
Illinois permits cannabis consumption on private property only. Public consumption is prohibited. That includes parks, sidewalks, parking lots, and vehicles. It's also not allowed anywhere tobacco smoking is banned. Property owners and landlords can restrict use on their premises, so always check before you light up.
